Biography

Dr Goh Pui Kiat graduated from National University of Singapore Medical Faculty in 1990. He did his housemanship in Singapore General Hospital in various departments including General Medicine, General Surgery and Obstetrics and Gynaecology. In 1992 he was admitted to the Principal List of the General Medical Council, UK. He was later attached to Eye Department in SGH and subsequently posted to RSAF Sembawang Air Base Medical Centre where he was involved in Heliborne Search and Rescue operations. He started private practice in September 1994 in 8-11 Clinic and Surgery in Yishun and recently expanded his latest practice branch to GPK Clinic (Orchard).His interest in Aesthetic Medicine and Dermatology led him to pursue more studies/ attachments and attend conferences in aesthetic / dermatology fields both locally and overseas. These included diverse places such as Boston, San Francisco, Seoul, Hong Kong, San Diego, Bangkok, Puerto Rico and UK. He started providing Chemical Peels in 1996 to his patients, and gradually added in more treatment options and modalities as the years go by including various Lasers, fillers and botulinum toxins. He was awarded a Diploma in Cosmetic Science (UK) in 1998. In 2005 he was made a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology.His motto is “doing the best for my patients with the least side effects at a reasonable cost”. With this guiding principle and his easy-going demeanor, his practice has expanded over the years, with mostly word of mouth referrals as he does not believe in aggressive advertisements or hard-selling. He believes Trust is precious, and is earned over a lifetime. He would like to treat his patients how he would like to be treated if the roles were reversed, with respect, honesty and integrity.

He loves to eat (like all Singaporeans) and read. He also loves Martial Arts and travelling. He likes to exchange notes with his patients on new places to eat and holiday places to go. He holds a first degree Black Belt in Shitoryu Karate and a Blue Belt in Brazilian Jiujitsu. Therefore he extends his apologies if he disappears from work few days a week for training and go on longer overseas leave especially during school holidays!
